Seiko Yoshida (吉田 清子 Yoshida Seiko) is a character of the series Machikado Mazoku. She is the wife of Joshua and the mother of Yuko Yoshida and Ryoko Yoshida.

Unlike Yuko Yoshida, Seiko is tall fair-skinned young woman with dark-purple hair that is tied in a low ponytail where her hair seems to be wavy and black eyes.
She usually wears a long sleeved white shirt over a purple sweater and a purple long skirt.
Personality[]
Like her two daughters, Seiko is a generally kind young woman who speaks politely like Yuko Yoshida and she seems to be quite open minded. She cares deeply for her daughters that she is often shown saving money using loyalty discounts and alternative ingredients due to their household curse of poverty.
Etymology[]
- The name Seiko means "clear, pure, clean" (清) (sei) and "child" (子) (ko).
- Seiko's surname Yoshida means "lucky, good" (吉) (yoshi) and "field, rice paddy" (田) (ta/da).
Trivia[]
- In Episode 7 of the anime and chapter 14 of the manga, because Lilith (as the statue) was about to keep talking whilst Seiko, Yuko Yoshida and Ryoko Yoshida was about to celebrate the lifting of the 40,000 yen curse, Seiko gave her a canned highball and proceeded to put the statue in a sake bath.
- It seems that despite being kind, Seiko is also quite scary, especially with Lilith.
- After becoming Joshua's vassal, Seiko stopped aging.
